Second Half Sparks Lions To Big Victory

It is not how it starts it is how you finish. The Lions struggled in the first half against N.J.I.T.making bad passes, taking bad shots, and turning the ball over. It wasn't the same Lions team that I saw against William and Mary. It looked like a different Penn State team. As bad as the Lions were playing they still had a 37-29 lead at halftime. However in the second half the Nittany Lions came out firing. They started the second half on a 14-0 run which then gave them a comfortable lead. What helped the Lions dominate in the second half was there intensity, and there pressure on defense. The Lions forced turnovers which helped lead to easy points. N.J.I.T. put up a fight in the first half, but struggled in the second half shooting 19%. This lead to a 74-47 victory for the Lions. Super Sophomore Talor Battle lead the way with 16 points, six assists, and 5 rebounds. Sophomore David Jackson had a good performance posting 13 points. Senior Danny Morrissey scored 12 points shooting 4 for 8 from the three point line. Senior Stanly Pringle also added 10 points for the Nittany Lions. Freshmen Chris Babb, and Cammeron Woodyard got some time combining for seven points. Penn State's next game is on Thursday November 17th against the Hartford Hawks. This game is on at 7pm and will be televised by the Big Ten network. Penn State is 2-0 and Hartford is 0-2

Prediction:
Penn State- 75
Hartford- 56
Why?- Look for Super Sophomore Talor Battle to have another big game, and look for the Lions defensive to force alot of turnovers. Jamelle Cornley didn't produce that many points against N.J.I.T. so look for him to have a big game, and dominate the boards.
